Cities

Along the Dalmatian coast, within a short distance from `On The Rocks’ 4 UNESCO World Heritage Cities can be explored.

TROGIR (20km): Founded by the Greek on a small island just off the coast. Wander through the narrow streets, alleys and squares with medieval houses, shops and restaurants. Driving from ‘On The Rocks’ to Trogir, you will have marvelous views over Trogir, Split, the Adriatic coast and some islands.

PRIMOSTEN (15km):Beautiful old town on an island connected in 1564 to the mainland. Dominated by the church of st. George on top of the island. Walk around the island and have dinner by sunset.

SIBENIK (35km): Medieval town with a cathedral, forts and nice squares with medieval houses.

SPLIT (50km): The second largest city in Croatia. Famous for its imposing Roman palace of the emperor Diocletian, Venetian square and a lovely promenade near the sea. The harbour near the promenade is a starting point to visited the islands nearby, like Brač or Hvar. One of the rare sandy beaches in Dalmatia is located at Bačvice. Split also has lots of modern shopping centers.
