Krka National Park

During your stay at B&B On The Rocks, you should include a visit to Krka National Park! It takes less than an hour’s drive to reach this beautiful natural park known for its impressive waterfalls, the Skradinski Buk being the most famous. If you like to take the boat to the entrance, you should choose Skradin (paid parking); if you prefer to go on foot or by van to the park entrance, you should choose Lozovac (free parking).

In 2 to 3 hours, you can complete the hike around Skradinski Buk. You walk on laid-out wooden paths and feel and hear the power of the water, an unforgettable experience.

Many forget that the National Park has even more to offer. Below is a short list of the other interesting sights in the park.

  • Visovac Island with the monastery of the Franciscan monks
  • 7 waterfalls, including Roški slap, Bilušića buk (the first waterfall in the Krka river), Manojlovac slap
  • The archaeological site Burnum
  • Eco campus (ideal on a rainy day)

This is a short overview about Krka national park. We have been there several times, for more info you can always contact us or check their website.
